Oh, did I forget to mention? Hugo is writing my biography. All famous people write their life story (or, like me, get someone else to write it for them). You might think I’m too young to publish my life story, but you’re wrong. I’m eleven! ‘What have you got so far?’ I ask. ‘Um … I’m not sure if I should read it to you as we go along, Max. If it’s going to be a true, hard-hitting account, then I can’t have you looking over my shoulder. What if I need to write something you don’t like? Know what I mean?’ ‘Why would you need to write something I don’t like? What’s not to like?’ ‘I don’t know, Max.
